Arturo y Excalibur

The Sword In The Stone (T.H. White)

This is the first one of a group of drawings where I'll try to represent several scenes from classic tales that I used to read when I was a child.

In this case we can see Arthur at the moment he is about to pull out Excalibur from the stone.

I've used watercolor pencils, ink and a little bit of photoshop to crop the image and to add the light effect.

Arturo y Excalibur. (Merlín el Ecantador)

Este es la primera de varias ilustraciones dentro de un proyecto que acabo de iniciar donde represento diferentes escenas de libros y cuentos que me encantaban de pequeña.

En este caso Arturo en el momento en que va a sacar la espada Excalibur de la piedra.

He utilizado lápices de colores acuarelables, tinta y un poco de Photoshop para recortar la imagen y el efecto de luz de lal espada.
